3.1 Tracking Website Traffic

Like most sites, we also use Google Analytics (GA) to track user activity. We use this data to determine the number of people who use our site to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their course on the site.

Although GA records data such as your geographic location, your device, your web browser, and your operating system, none of this information makes you personally known to us. GA also records your computer’s IP address, which could be used to identify you, but Google does not provide access to it. We consider Google as a third data processing medium.

If you upload an image to our site (via comments), you should avoid uploading it with built-in location data (EXIF GPS). Site visitors can download the image and find your location from this data.

For those users who join our site, we also maintain the personal information they provide from their profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information (other than the nickname they gave when registering). Site administrators can also view and edit the data of all users.
